Intraoral Camera
Using our Claris intraoral camera, Dr. Baioni is able to gain an up-close and clear picture of any hard-to-see areas of your mouth to more closely inspect symptoms and signs of oral health problems to confirm a diagnosis. The footage from the camera is transmitted to a large, chairside monitor, so you’ll be able to see real-time images of what Dr. Baioni is talking about and have a helpful resource. This allows us to better explain how our recommended treatment will help get your oral health back on the right track.
Digital X-Rays
In the past, dentists would capture images of the area of your mouth that lies below your gums with film X-rays. Not only did these use chemicals that weren’t good for the environment, but they also took a while to develop, and when they did, the pictures wouldn’t always be clear. Today, we utilize all-digital X-ray imaging systems that are faster, more comfortable, and lead to accurate diagnoses. Not to mention, they reduce radiation exposure by up to 90 percent compared to film X-rays, making the process safe for children and adults.

In order to receive any oral product—including crowns, dentures, veneers, and more—we need to take impressions of your mouth. In the past and at some practices, this entails pressing a putty-like material against your upper and lower arches, which is rather uncomfortable and can result in inaccurate data for the lab. Our Medit i700 scanner, however, fits easily in anyone’s mouth and quickly takes digital scans, meaning your restorations and appliances are bound to fit perfectly the first time, every time.
